Roofing questions Detroit homeowners ask us

Straight answers from Ted Thompson’s office. If yours is not here, call (313) 600-4538, Monday to Saturday, 8 to 6.

Move valuables away from the drip, put a bucket under it and keep people away from any ceiling that is sagging with water. Do not go on the roof in the dark or in bad weather. Call (313) 600-4538. If water is still coming in after a storm, we tarp the roof to stop more damage and then schedule the repair.

Repair makes sense when the damage is limited to one area and the decking underneath is sound. Replacement makes sense when the damage is widespread, the decking is soft, or repairs keep coming back. The free inspection tells you which one you are looking at, in writing.

A 10-year labor warranty on our work, plus the manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty on qualifying shingle systems.
